Your Second Visit to Our Seattle Practice

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

Your second visit typically takes 20 to 30 minutes, and will include the following procedures:

Report of Findings:

You will receive a detailed explanation of your exam findings to help you understand your condition. A treatment plan will be established for your care based on the the doctor's clinical recommendations and your goals. Every patient's needs and goals are different; therefore every treatment plan is tailored specifically for each patient. Our office policies and financial details will also be reviewed.

Chiropractic Adjustment:

The first chiropractic adjustment is usually on this day. Dr. Burick is skilled in a variety of adjusting techniques and will use the ones best suited to your condition. Each procedure will be explained to you in advance.

Home Care:

After your adjustment, Dr. Burick will give you instructions on self-care procedures to be conducted at home. This may include ice and/or heat application as well as exercises and/or stretches.

Dr. Mark Asks some important questions of interest to Seattle residents - Chiropractor Seattle Dr. Mark Asks...

What does a chiropractic adjustment do?
Chiropractic adjustments give your spine a little "nudge" at the right place, right time and the right direction so your body can use that energy to "right" itself. With a schedule of consistent chiropractic visits, a new, healthier spinal pattern emerges.
What are the two things drugs do?
Drugs can either speed up (laxatives, amphetamines, caffeine) a bodily process, or slow down (stomach antacids, sleep aids, antihistamines, muscle relaxers) a bodily process. Chiropractic care can produce the same results, but relies on the intelligence of the body. Chiropractors trust your body. Do you?
